Type B design bearings are suitable for high speed operation under light load andlow temperature conditions.

Compared to E and D design bearings, type B designbearings can be filled with the maximum number of small

balls. The smaller, lighter balls reduce the centrifugal load acting on the outer raceway and, therefore, reduce

rolling contact surface stress. As smaller balls require less space, the bearing rings have a larger cross-section,

making them less sensitive to deformation caused by irregularities in the bearing mounting surface, housing or

shaft.
